It is reported that Zenith Steel produced pig iron, crude steel and steel products totaling 5.9112 million tonnes, 6.2461 million tonnes and 6.0977 million tonnes separately in the first ten months 2012, increasing by 3.6 percent, 6.89 percent and 20.84 percent severally over the same period last year.
In the first three quarters of 2012, Zenith Steel realized industrial output value of 43.8 billion yuan and operating revenue of 50.3 billion yuan, with an increase of 12.77 percent over prior year.
By now, Zenith Steel developed 19 quality bars products and 14 quality wire rod products including 70 steel, 40Mn2 spring steel, 20A low carbon drawing steel products, 35K cold heading steel products and 72A cord steel products, etc.
In the year 2013, Zenith Steel plans to produce quality bars and wire rod of 4 million tonnes.
